Julius Nyere Lugisu
Martin Lurthur – Acholi
Desmond Tutu – Kiganda
Mahatima Ghandhi – Bunyoro
On 24^th august, the MDD had just started the first item which was the set piece, the play and then finally the dance.
All the colors tried their best but Einsten Albery a rose in first place then Nelson Mandela became the second Mahatima Ghandhi became the third, Desmond Tutu became the fourth and  Martin luthur king became the fifth and Julius Nyerere became the last. I was so sad but there are always winners and losers.

MUSIC DANCE AND DRAMA
It was the last day of second term 2024 when St. Catherine junior school had a music dance and drama concert.
Children participated and entertained all the guests to the level best. They were competing in colors.
These are; Green(Julius Nyerere), Blue(Einstein Albert), Orange(Martin Luther the KIng), Yellow(Mahatima Ghandhi), Red(Nelson Mandela) and pink(Desmond Tutu).
All our parents were invited for this concert and when the day came to an end, the judges announced the results and the Blue (Einstein Albert) won.
We congratulated them and went happily.

MDD
We had our school MDD on 24th of August, 2024.
We had three performances namely; the set piece(East Africa Anthem), folk dance and a drama.
First, the nursery section performed in modelling, dancing etc. After then, the primary section started presenting. We had fun while performing the dance and drama.
After events, the judges announced the first house to the last one. I was happy that my house was the second.
I had fun and I hope to have a better concert next year.

MDD 2024 TERM TWO
My name is Kasirye Keith Daniel. I am in P.6 crane and I love music in term two we had MDD every week on Thursday where we used to dance after guidance and counselling. I am in Mahatima Ghadhi.
Mahatima Ghandhi was the third in set piece with seventy points and the play, we were the first with ninety points and the drama, we were the third with seventy points.
So we were the third on MDD and color red was the second and color green was the last.

MDD COMPETITION
In second term, we had MDD competition, the colors that participated were;
Einstein Albert
Mahatima Ghandhi
Nelson Mandela
Martin Luther King
Julius Nyerere
Desmond Tutu
All the colors had participated since the beginning of the term. All colors had different trainers and they were all dancing different tribal dances and only one color managed to be number one. It is none other than my color, the one and only Einstein Albert. A part from dancing, we also acted and sang Anthems. Everyone participated and got tired including myself, the crowd was happy but after it all, everyone was a winner because we all did something. The order of colors in performance was; Blue, Red, Yellow, Pink, Orange and green.
We learnt new skills. That’s why we should participate in these activities.

MDD (MUSIC DANCE AND DRAMA)
Hi, my name is Mwesigwa Louis Andre and I am in St. Catherine junior school the best school I know. Every second term we have MDD where children sing, dance and act plays to make the color / house win or to make their parents happy. Here at St. Catherine junior school, we have wonderful six colors and these are;
Martin Luther King – orange
Desmond Tutu – Pink
Nelson Mandela – Red
Julius Nyerere – Green
Mahatima Ghandhi – Yellow
Einstein Albert – Blue
And me, I am in Martin Luther King which is color orange, so different colors danced different dances.
We danced and all got tired, myself. I managed to get a certificate in acting. So this means that every child is unique and able. Join St. Catherine junior school where we swerve, spiral and soar. Good bye

An article about MDD
MDD in full is Music Dance and Drama
At St. Catherine junior school, every after second term, the school holds a music dance and drama concert.
It is always wonderful seeing students singing, playing skits, dancing, etc
As students, we always compete in our houses which include, Einstein Albert, Mahatima Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King and Julius Nyerere.
Eventually the winning house is read out for celebrations and so on.
And that’s how the term ends.

My name is Kaheru Ramathan. I am in primary six. I want to talk about the MDD that was held last term. All houses participated. There were six houses ie Einstein Albert, Mahatima Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King and Julius Nyerere. All houses did to their level best.
Last term, many people attended and they were very happy. People enjoyed, danced and laughed. Many people attended and no house lost but got least points. The winning house was Einsten Albert second was Nelson Mandela, third was Mahatima Ghandhi, fourth was Desmond Tutu, fifth was Martin Luther King and sixth house was Julius Nyerere.
I loved the MDD events of last term.

MDD
MDD was very interesting because we had to train with our trainers. Some trainers would get very angry at us.
Our trainers were the best of all. Other trainers were not better than ours. Why? They would give us their best.
Some people didn’t dance or act but most of us participated in singing the set piece (East Africa Anthem) that means almost every one participated.
My color was the forth but it doesn’t mean we lost because no color lost as we all participated.

MDD
On Saturday, we had our MDD and it started at 8:00am. All the events were festive and colorful that parents enjoyed them. We begun with the set piece and ended with the dances.
We were in specific houses ie Einstein Albert, Mahatima Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King and Julius Nyerere. Although the event was short, the parents, teachers and administrators enjoyed it the most.
At the end of the event, Einstein Albert had outstanding performance, so it won for the second time. It was unbelievable for Nelson Mandela because it lost by only two marks.
After all of that parents went to the classes to pick report cards and went back home.
Though we enjoyed the MDD, we play for a creativity MDD next time.

MDD
MDD was very interesting because there were many activities like music, drama, drama and East African Anthem. When we were singing East Africa Anthem, we were told to sing it in uniform. Nelson Mandela was the best in set piece.
Eisten Albert was the winner and the best in the dance and drama.

AN ARTICLE ABOUT MDD
Last term, we had MDD competitions at St. Catherine junior school. In our school, there are six houses that participated ie Einstein Albert, Mahatima Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King and Julius Nyerere.
My name is Asiimwe Harry and I am in Mahatma Ghandhi. All houses had children who actively participated in it. There was a winning house and losing house. The house that won was Einstein Albert, the second was Nelson Mandela, third wa Mahatima Ghandi, the fourth was Desmond Tutu, fifth was Martin Luther king and the last one was Julius Nyerere.
Some people cried, some rejoiced, some were sad, others were like nothing happened they were just normal. The best dances and actors were given certificates . After we went to classes and received our report cards and went home.

MY MDD DAY!    MY MDD DAY

And color blue won because it was well trained, energy and a smile on their face. That was the because and my(martin luther king) color was the best in the dance.
And the blue was rejoicing for winning and the best in acting.

MUSIC DANCE AND DRAMA
We had MDD at the end of term two before children going home. There are a lot of colors / houses that participated and they include; Einstein Albert, Mahatima Ghandhi, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Martin Luther King and Julius Nyerere.
My name is Ssegawa Isaiah Dalton.
So in the time of guidance and counselling, we used to practice the traditional dance and play. When the MDD was closer, we added more time as wee were left with little days to MDD.
When Saturday reached, children were happy that they will see their parents but we also had MDD. Different colors / houses were called on the stage. We started with the anthem, next we did the paly then the dance.
The houses did well. Einstein Albert was the first, second was Nelson Mandela, the third was Mahatma Ghandi, the fourth was Desmond Tutu, the fifth was Martin Luthr King and last was Julius Nyerere.
After some children were sad and some were happy and went home.
