The directors are particularly humbled and honoured to be dealing with the kind of parents who value and treasure quality education for their children. Thank you for being true custodians of these God's gifts to you. The directors also wish to welcome the many new pupils who joined the school this year. We are glad that many have settled down and embarked on engaging in the many school programs. We thank the head teacher and her team for the effective orientation programs that enabled the new members to settle down quickly. Our theme this year is 'A Focus on a Whole Child Through Project Based Learning. We appeal to all members of the SCJS family, especially the parents, to work closely with the teachers and school administration to ensure that we have tangible results by the end of the year. The learners should be encouraged to fully participate in all the planned activities. We believe this approach will help impart future life skills to the learners and make them appreciate education as a tool of change and transformation of society. The directors also wish to welcome the many new pupils who joined the school this year. We are glad that many have settled down and embarked on engaging in the many school programs. In pursuit of academic excellence, and the desire to realize our vision and mission objectives, many activities are planned to make a typical day/week at SCJS rather tight. We strongly appeal to parents and teachers to positively encourage and support the children, and to develop coping strategies that enable them to maximally benefit from these diverse activities. Indeed, that is what should define life at SCJS. On a more positive note, we are glad to report that the 3-level block extension to the Early Learning Centre is complete and in use.
