Despite the rain and the clouds, 12th November 2022 was a bright day at St. Catherine Junior School Sonde.

All roads led from the dining hall to the swimming pool. The swimmers were determined that the event happen despite the weather and their supporters were equally zealous.

The children competed in age groups and in different sexes for each Race. Each swimmer had a timer to record their progress and the judges ruled with fair and impartial judgement.

Our director Catherine Namugaya was available to hand out Medals to the winners along with our beloved Headteacher.

The students were grateful to Coach Michael for his diligence in building up a strong team , always encouraging them and making them part of a team.
