HOW I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Christmas is a season when people celebrate the birth of Jesus. Holiday is when people are not at school or at work, I spent my holidays in Kampala and spent them with my mother, father and my siblings.
During the holiday, I visited many churches. I also visited my uncle, my aunt and my grandparents.
I was able to also visit Mestil Hotel and Premier. I also visited my cousins’ home.
I learnt how to grow collards, tomatoes, soya beans and irish potatoes. In fact, I grew some of these. I also learnt how mingle posho, cook beans rice and matooke.
During this holiday, I had both interesting and boring moments. My most interesting moments were when we went to a hotel for Christmas, when we went to visit my uncle and then went Christmas shopping.
My boring moment was when I didn’t go to church on 2nd February, and on that day, we ate beans. I didn’t go for any other outing until I came back to school.
All in all, I just hope that I have another wonderful holiday.

MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Christmas is the day when people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated on 25th December every year. Holidays is a time when one is not at school or work. On 29th November, Our school broke up for the Christmas holidays. I spent mine at home with my cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives. I don’t spend Christmas holidays with my parents because they have to travel to South Sudan to go for work.
So, when we finished eating the food at 18:30 pm, our uncle decided to take us to town. We dressed up and went for shopping. We bought clothes, snickers and Christmas gifts for everyone at home. After shopping, we went for chicken tonight to buy some chicken, chips and pizza for our supper.
After that tiring journey, we went back home for supper and our uncle told us jokes after eating. Later, we went to our rooms.
I learnt a few lessons during the activities we had. I learnt to spend money wisely, to budget and to have plans that benefit everybody at home.
This was the best Christmas holiday I have ever had, because I got a gift and surprisingly, it was an HP computer.
I encourage fellow pupils to be helpful and thankful to their family members. We should also have holiday plans for our holidays and learn to spend money wisely.

MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Christmas is the day when christians celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Holidays is a period of time when one is not at school or work.
On 29th November, we broke up for holidays. When I reached home, my parents informed my sister, my brother and I that we are going to the village. I was so excited that I could not breathe well.
On 19th December, we went for Christmas cantata. We enjoyed the presentation and the theme was; A LIGHT HAS DAWNED. After the presentation, we went home to prepare for the journey to the village.
On Tuesday night, we reached the village and started preparing for the next day which was Christmas. On Christmas morning, we had a delicious breakfast. After our breakfast, we told stories, played football, danced and even sang songs. Later in the day, we had our lunch. We had a variety of food; chicken, chips, pilau, white rice, yellow rice, ground nuts, chapati and matoke. In the evening, we went to the Nile bridge where we learnt a lot of stuff. On the way back, some people bought what they wanted and our uncle bought tents. When we reached our destination, our uncle taught us how to set up tents. Then we cut a cake.
The next day, we had the best time of our life. We played and danced. In the evening, we sat and watched football Wolves Vs. Manchester United.
I had the best holiday ever. I hope to visit those places again next Christians.

HOW I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY
Christmas is a special time of the year that brings joy and pride to everyone. Holidays are short breaks from school or jobs. I spent my Christmas holidays with my parents and brother at Adventure Park.
While at Adventure Park, we did a lot of activities e.g. zip lining, bumper car racing, go cart racing, quad bikes and bungy jumping. After visiting the park, we went to restaurant for lunch. While at the restaurant, we played video games and watched lots of movies.
Lastly, we went for family photos. I liked the different pauses we were told to show in the pictures. We took a lot of photos each costing fifteen thousand shillings. Some were put in hard copies and others in soft copy.
I really enjoyed the holidays and Christmas day. Some days later, it was New years day. We stayed up late and watched the fire works at 12:00 pm. It was a holiday I cannot forget. I hope to go back another time.

HOW I SPENT MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY.
Christmas is the period of the year where people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Holidays is a time when you are not at work or at school.
I spent my Christmas holiday in Kampala with my aunt, cousins, nephews, nieces, parents and my grandparents. They were coming from Masaka to our home in Namugongo. I was so happy to see all my relatives mostly my cousin Sofia. She helps me to set the table for our visitors always though she is also a guest.
After the guests took their seats at the dining table, we brought breakfast and when they finished their meal, we put our luggage in the car and set off for Kampala. On the way, I saw beautiful physical features e.g. lakes, rivers and swamps. I told Uncle Dan to stop and let me take a photograph near River Nile.
I started knitting in the car, I just wanted to make a scarf and a sweater for my cousin, Sofia, as a birthday gift for her twelfth birthday that year. I wanted it to be a surprise. I love knitting so much.
I advise fellow school children not to give up on holidays especially Christmas holidays and New Year’s Day. Be powerful holiday makers, make the holiday season colourful. Respect and honour these days.
